Tyreek Hill challenges Olympic sprint champion Lyles

Tyreek Hill claims he could beat Olympic 100-meter champion Noah Lyles in a sprint race.

Tyreek Hill has catapulted himself into the headlines with a cocky announcement: The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is convinced he could beat newly crowned Olympic champion Noah Lyles in a 100-meter race.

Lyles recently won gold in the 100 meters at the Olympic Games in Paris. His winning time: 9.79 seconds.

“I will beat Noah Lyles. I wouldn’t beat him by much, but I would beat Noah Lyles,” Hill said on the “Up & Adams” show.

Whether Hill is serious about his challenge or just trying to provoke the 27-year-old remains to be seen. In the past, he has repeatedly claimed to be faster than Usain Bolt. However, he failed to prove it

Hill was a top sprinter at high school

Hill had run the 200 meters in a strong 20.14 seconds during his high school days. However, the NFL star has not taken part in any athletics competitions since 2014. Even he himself probably doesn’t know how fast he is at the moment
