Joy for David Bada. The German has been signed by an NFL team
Good news from the NFL: David Bada has a new team. The German defensive tackle has been signed by the Detroit Lions, according to the NFL’s daily transaction report.
According to the report, the franchise, for which German star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown also plays, has added the 29-year-old to its 90-man roster after previously receiving a waiver for him as an international player.
The German had played for several teams in Europe before joining the Washington Commanders via the International Player Pathway Program in 2020. He spent the past four seasons there. In 2022, he appeared in two games, making two tackles.
In August 2023, he tore his triceps in practice, which ended his season before the previous season had even begun.
David Bada now “a Lion “
The Lions were previously looking for a defensive lineman because D.J. Reader is currently on the “Physically Unable to Perform” list.
Bada himself announced his commitment on Instagram with the words: “Hi guys, I have something to tell you! I’m a lion from now on “
