Kenny Clark is staying with the Packers. The nose tackle extends his contract in Green Bay for another three years and collects a huge sum for it
The Green Bay Packers have extended star defensive tackle Kenny Clark’s contract by three years. The team announced the news on Sunday.
The three-time Pro Bowler will receive 64 million US dollars for this period, as reported by “ESPN”.
The contract will earn the nose tackle 29 million dollars in 2014 and should bring his total career earnings to over 150 million dollars.
Clark was selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2016 draft and has developed into one of the NFL’s best run defenders in recent years, barely missing a game.
Last season, the 28-year-old set a new career-best with 7.5 sacks and earned his third Pro Bowl nomination thanks in part to this outstanding statistic.
