NFL – Minnesota Vikings: Jordan Addison arrested

The Minnesota Vikings can’t rest. After rookie Khyree Jackson was recently killed in a car accident, wide receiver Jordan Addison has now been arrested.

There is no rest for the Minnesota Vikings: Just days after the death of rookie Khyree Jackson, Jordan Addison has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.

“We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest last Friday and are currently gathering more information about the incident,” the franchise announced in a statement.

As “NFL.com” reports, a car had blocked lanes of a highway near the Los Angeles airport on Friday night. When a California Highway Patrol officer arrived on the scene, he encountered a white Rolls-Royce with a sleeping Addison at the wheel.

After a DUI investigation, the wide receiver was arrested at 11:36 p.m. and released from custody at 1:36 a.m. Saturday.

The whole thing happened just days after rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson, a fourth-round pick by the Vikings in the 2024 draft, was killed in a car accident alongside two other people.

It’s not the first offseason trouble for Addison. Last year, he was arrested for speeding. He was traveling around 160 km/h too fast.

The 22-year-old Addison was selected 23rd overall by the Vikings in the 2023 draft. He rushed for 911 yards and ten touchdowns last season.
