The rumors surrounding Raiders star Adams continue. Now the wide receiver has spoken out about a potential move to New York
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams reunited – it’s not just some New York Jets fans who want that, but apparently also the quarterback himself. The duo played together for the Green Bay Packers between 2014 and 2022.
When asked by Kay Adams on “Up & Adams”, the wide receiver confirmed that Rodgers had already contacted him. She asked the Chargers star: “Is he in your ear and says ‘do you wanna play with me again? With a laugh, Adams answered in the affirmative.
“It’s not that simple – of course we can meet up and talk about the old days and the possibility of doing this or that,” explained the wide receiver. However, the 31-year-old is a Raider and Rodgers knows that too.
Reunion with Rodgers remains wishful thinking
A switch therefore seems rather unlikely, especially as Adams’ contract in Las Vegas is still valid until 2026. The man with the number 17 already made it clear in April that he was not thinking about a possible departure.
Last season, the wide receiver made 2013 receptions for 1,144 receiving yards. Adams also celebrated eight touchdowns – and he will probably continue to do so in a Raiders uniform for the time being.
