Kyler Murray at the 2028 Olympics in flag football – against the USA?

Flag football will be played for the first time at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. However, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray would probably not play for, but at most against, the USA.

The summer of 2028 will see the Olympic Games take place in Los Angeles.

Flag football will also be included in the Olympic program, giving many NFL stars the opportunity to possibly shine on this Olympic stage as well.

Not least because of the numerous NFL superstars, the USA would probably be the top favorite in the Olympic flag football tournament. Especially at quarterback, the USA would presumably be spoiled for choice with absolute superstars like Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen.

That’s why Kyler Murray of the Arizona Cardinals already has an alternative in mind if the US team doesn’t make it to the 2028 Olympics.

Murray is one-quarter South Korean, so he could compete for the country of his ancestors in Los Angeles.

“That would be a great experience if they asked me. I would have to consider it… I think it would be a great experience,” Murray said about competing in the Olympics with South Korea at ‘AMAZN HQ.’ That would mean that Murray would not compete for, but at most in a possible duel against, the USA at the 2028 Olympics.

Opinions are divided on the possibility of many NFL stars participating in the Olympic flag football tournament at the 2028 US Games in Los Angeles. After all, the US team has recently won the World Cup in flag football five times – without any NFL professionals.

Not least for this reason, players of the flag football world champions are critical of a possible Olympic participation of NFL stars in 2028. “I think I’m better than Patrick Mahomes because of my game IQ,” said flag football quarterback Darrell Doucette at TMZ.
