Nick Chubb had to sit out for over a year due to a serious knee injury. Now the Cleveland Browns running back is returning to training.
The Cleveland Browns’ sluggish offense is getting one of its key players back.
As head coach Kevin Stefanski told the media, Nick Chubb will return to training on Wednesday. They previously took him off the PUP list, thus opening the 21-day window for his return to training.
The star running back suffered a serious knee injury in week 2 of last NFL season, tearing his ACL and meniscus and requiring two surgeries.
“I’m not going to go out on a limb. He’s working very hard. The natural progression is that he starts training. He’s ready. We’ll see how it goes from there. We’re not looking much further than Wednesday,” Stefanski is quoted as saying by ‘nfl.com’.
Cleveland Browns have one of the worst NFL offenses
The Browns are currently 1-3, with only the weak Jacksonville Jaguars having been defeated so far. In terms of yards per game and total yards, only the New England Patriots are doing worse than Deshaun Watson and Co.
in the NFL. In week 5, the Washington Commanders are now waiting. Whether Chubb will be able to play then has not yet been decided.
