Bad news for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Defensive back Chris Claybrooks was arrested on Friday, TV station “news4jax.com” reports.
According to the report, records from the Duval County Jail show that the athlete was taken into custody in the afternoon on charges of domestic violence and custodial interference. The 25-year-old is scheduled to appear in court as early as Saturday.
“We are aware of the arrest of Chris Claybrooks and are in the process of gathering information. We will have no further comment at this time,” the Jaguars announced in a statement.

This is not the first arrest of the professional. He was already arrested on April 15 on charges of domestic violence, at the time involving assault and vandalism.
At the time, he was accused of snatching a mobile phone from a woman’s hand and damaging it by throwing it to the ground. The lady suffered bruises and abrasions.
