The dispute between Brian Flores and the Miami Dolphins goes into the next round. Would Flores have collected millions for signing a confidentiality clause? The Dolphins deny it.
Munich/Miami – Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores apparently missed out on a million-dollar payday by not signing a confidentiality clause from the Dolphins.
“I’m sure you all know that signing that contract would have silenced me,” Flores said on “HBO.”
The Dolphins responded to Flores’ statement in a statement, calling it “categorically false.” At the same time, the Dolphins assured that they would “cooperate fully” with the NFL’s investigation. They said this was to prove that Flores’ statements were “false and defamatory”.

Doug Wigdor, Flores’ attorney, posted a screenshot afterward, writing, “If Brian Flores had signed this, he wouldn’t have been able to talk about his experience.”
Flores had most recently sued the NFL for discrimination. Flores accuses the league of discriminating against blacks in coaching job application processes because of the colour of their skin.
“In some ways, the NFL is segregated by race and managed like a plantation,” the 58-page lawsuit states. Flores is directing his claims against the NFL as well as the New York Giants, the Denver Broncos and his previous team, the Miami Dolphins. He was released from that team in January after three years.
A few days ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers then somewhat surprisingly announced the signing of the 40-year-old as senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach.
