Munich/Minnesota – Philadelphia Eagles safety Anthony Harris surprised a fan at the obligatory father-daughter dance. 11-year-old Audrey Soape had lost her father and grandfather shortly before.
Audrey’s mother Holly met Harris when he played for the Minnesota Vikings between 2015 and 2020. A friendship subsequently developed between the Soapes and Harris via social media.
When Holly asked the defensive back if he wanted to surprise her daughter, Harris immediately agreed – making it a night to remember for the 11-year-old.

“He was very nice and accommodating and made it a magical night for her,” the mother gushed.
Harris himself was modest: “I just tried to be human and show my sympathy and support for the family. “
