NFL: Bill Belichick accepts new TV job

Coach legend Bill Belichick will not be bored in the NFL next season, even without a contract. He announces that he has taken on another TV job

Even after his retirement as head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick will still be present in the NFL.

The successful coach, who won the Super Bowl six times together with quarterback legend Tom Brady, has signed the next TV job.

The 72-year-old announced that he will be joining “Inside The NFL” as an analyst and expert for the coming season. The show has been an institution on US television for decades.

Between 1977 and 2008, it was an integral part of HBO’s NFL coverage. It was then broadcast by Showtime until 2021, when Paramount+ took over. Last year, the show moved to CW Television Network.

Together with Belichick, Ryan Clark, Chris Long and Chad Johnson will analyze the NFL games in the studio.

But it’s not the only TV job for the legendary coach. He will join brothers Eli and Peyton Manning on the ManningCast to commentate the NFL’s Monday Night games.Belichick began his career in 1975 as assistant coach of the Baltimore Colts and was coach of the Cleveland Browns from 1991 to 1995.

He then became a legend as head coach of the Patriots, whom he coached from 2000 to 2023 and led to numerous successes.
