Coronavirus: Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans report infections

The corona virus does not stop at the NFL: Several players of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans have tested positive for Covid-19. One of the players is Ezekiel Elliott.

Texas Governor Gregg Abbott has already hinted that sporting events will soon be allowed with a limited number of fans. But the crisis is not over in Texas either, as new corona cases in the NFL now prove.

As “NFL Network” reports, several players of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans have been infected with the corona virus. The players are said not to have been at the training grounds in the past few days and the teams have already taken all the necessary steps to contain it.

Among the professionals is star running back Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott’s advisor has now confirmed this.

NFL Chief Medical Officer Dr. Allen Sills stated a month ago that such cases would occur: “We are very likely to expect positive cases from our players. Our job will be to identify these cases as quickly as possible and stop them from spreading immediately.”

According to reports from the NFL Network, the teams should have the situation under control.
