Fans dress up as clowns: Protests against General Manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars

The fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars are taking action against General Manager Trent Baalke. To vent their displeasure, there will be protests at the final game of the season.

Munich – The Jacksonville Jaguars’ season is not going anywhere near as well as they had hoped.

Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence can show his talent too rarely, Urban Meyer caused trouble with several scandals and was consequently dismissed during the season. Once again, the Jaguars are facing upheaval.

Clown disguises at last game

Much to the displeasure of fans, this one will probably be contested with general manger Trent Baalke. Supporters are planning a protest at the Jags’ final game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts because of this. The Associated Press reports that several hundred fans plan to dress up as clowns.

The protest is not only against Baalke, but also against team owner Shad Khan. He, too, has come in for harsh criticism after several bad decisions. Before the final day of play, the Jaguars are back in last place with a record of 2-14, just one year after finishing the season 1-15.

So Jacksonville has its work cut out for it in the offseason. Maybe with a good, fit coach to bring Trevor Lawrence forward, the brass will manage to get the fan base behind them again. With or without Baalke, the next few weeks will tell.
