2023 Draft: Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and 15 other prospects on the scene

Four quarterbacks are on hand at the NFL Draft and will take the stage when their name is called. The fact that defensive tackle Jalen Carter is also there wasn’t necessarily expected.

Before every NFL Draft, the question is whether the players want to be there themselves for the talent draft or prefer to experience it from home. The upcoming 2023 NFL Draft (April 27-April 29) will feature 17 top talents in Kansas City.

They include four quarterbacks, Will Levis (Kentucky), Anthony Richardson (Florida), C.J. Stroud (Ohio State) and Bryce Young (Alabama). It is widely expected that the Panthers, who hold the No. 1 pick, will pick either Young or Stroud.

Carter was sentenced to 12 months probation

Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter will also see the draft locally. This was not necessarily expected beforehand. True, he is considered the most talented player in his position group.

However, he had been accused of being instrumental in a mid-January accident that killed Georgia teammate Devin Willock and teammate Chandler LeCroy. Carter was temporarily arrested but agreed with the prosecution to a suspended sentence of twelve months.

The other players who will be on hand at the NFL Draft are USC receiver Jordan Addison, Alabama linebacker Will Anderson Jr, Alabama defensive back Brian Branch, Boston College receiver Zay Flowers, Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez, Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr.., Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr, Texas running back Bijan Robinson, Ohio State receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Georgia Tech defensive end Keion White, Texas Tech defensive lineman Tyree Wilson and Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon
